Peter Bartlett

Construction Director

With over 30 years of experience, Peter is a seasoned construction director who manages all our site operations. He has worked on dozens of multi-million-pound developments including some of the UK’s best-known theme park attractions including Nemesis, Oblivion, Rita, Wickerman, The Dungeons, New Sea Life Centres and Legoland.

He has also helped to deliver multiple hospitals, care homes, rail, student accommodation, commercial, retail and industrial projects. Peter is a specialist in infrastructure and civil works, is Street Works qualified and is a proud proponent of on-site Health & Safety across the BDP business.

Steven Donlon

Director

Steven has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years, specialising in the contracting and consulting sectors in the UK and the Middle East. Originally from a Quantity Surveying background, he worked his way up the ladder to multiple Director and equity positions.

Before establishing BDP Construction, Steven ran a group of construction companies for the Royal Family and high net-worth individuals in the Middle East for over a decade. He is a Chartered Surveyor with the RICS, Associate Arbitrator with the ACIArb, Chartered Building Engineer and holds a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying from Reading CEM.

Robert Talbot

Director

Rob has amassed over 30 years’ experience in the UK as a Quantity Surveyor. Graduating with a BSc in Quantity Surveying, he’s worked with everyone from Laing’s to M J Gleeson, Wates Construction and Morgan Sindall. Rob developed and ran a successful £20 million construction company for twenty years prior to co-founding BDP Construction with Steven Donlon. He has extensive experience in housing, student accommodation, industrial, commercial and theme park sectors and is an expert in client relationships.

Jason Lewis

Procurement Manager

Jason has over a decade in the industry, managing projects skillfully to ensure a streamlined approach. With a strong procurement background, Jason prides himself on building robust relationships in the industry and understands the importance of consistently strengthening the supply chain we engage with.

Shaun Portas

Contracts Manager

With 15 years experience in construction and a strong knowledge of new build and refurbishment projects, Shaun is a Key cog in the BDP machine. Shaun has worked on several multi-million pound projects with extensive experience in the health sector.

Managing our extensive team of Site Managers, Shaun’s role bridges the site staff with the office personnel. Health and Safety conscious, quality control and programme driven.
